Today is a day that won’t soon be forgotten! In a NB 1st, the City Of Fredericton raised the Disability Pride flag to honor Disability Awareness Week ( May 26th- June 2nd).
NBCPD wishes to thank some of its members in attendance, as well as Mayor Kate Rogers, Council member Jocelyn Pike (City of Fredericton Government), members of the Fredericton Social Inclusion Committee and our City liaison, Gwen McIntyre for her help and support.
We also want to thank Susan Holt as well as reps from David Coon ‘s office (who had a previous commitment, but wanted to ensure we knew they support us). Interesting to note; although the governing Conservatives were invited to attend, sadly no representative was sent to the event.
