Which Candidate(s) and Leader(s) Will Keep The Provincial Government’s Hands off The Canadian Disability Benefit?
We. the 35.3% of NB residents with one or more disabilities, demand that both you and the leader of your party agree to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) within your first 30 days in government, agreeing to not CLAWBACK so much as a penny, regardless of the amount offered, as part of the Federal Disability Benefit. AS of today, NB has not signed anything, even stating they would not touch the original $200. The federal government will never increase it to a reasonable amount as long as a province/ territory can/ will in turn claw back from the person with a disability and fill their own pockets!
